The ash is the strongest, but not the elasticity of other woods.

Mahogany is the best bat, without exception, but very expensive.

Buy a composite bats. Wooden bats and a connection to the surface. which are more expensive, but not broken. We use wooden bats in our league and seems more than 2 seasons before losing his 'pop' last.

Composite bats are good, or tree bats are also good. You can find online, does not break.

I think, ash and maple are the strongest. Thin handles can easily fall prey and thus more fully "to his wrist, but break more often. Make sure to hold children to take care ur the bat, you inward. If you can only training or in the batting cage burn barrels and that will help you stay in 1 piece, but can not obviously be done, if it be used for a game. Then I would go with ash or maple and a surprise when their children ur w / you and let you deciding which type of management they need.
I hope I helped. Good luck!
